The Narnia Badgers and the Carrock Bears will take the Ultimate Championship to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Badgers beat the Bears, 8-6, at Old League Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Narnia first baseman Belladonna Grub went 3-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice.
A key moment came with one out in the top of the third. That’s when Grub hit a slider from Truzguh the Malicious for a 3-run home run, putting Narnia up, 4-1.
“We’ll take some time to unwind,” said Grub, “and then get after the next one.”
