The Dunharrow Devils powered past the hometown Lothlorien Lumberjacks, 3-1, in the opener of the Fellowship Series at Celebrant Field today. Dunharrow starting pitcher Ygrainne Brightmoon threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball, to lead the charge. The Devils now lead the series 1-0.
Brightmoon gave Dunharrow a solid start. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 7 innings.
“We lost,” Lothlorien manager Borthak Throatslobber said later. “We’ll deal with it. The series isn’t over.”
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Celebrant Field in Caras Galadhon.
