In a pivotal Game 5, the Erebor Eagles were hoping for a big game from starter Ragnar Kirchhoff. They got one.
The left-hander shut out the Minas Tirith Titans, proving to be the difference-maker as he led his club to a 4-0 victory. The Eagles took the 4-0 win over the Minas Tirith Titans to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.
The Titans had trouble solving Kirchhoff, who surrendered no runs on 3 hits over 6.1 innings.
“The effort we put into this one paid off,” Kirchhoff said.
The next game is set to be played for Tuesday, October 19th , 2049 at Elrod Stadium at Finrod Field.
