With a 7-3 win to wrap up the series at Dunharrow Field, the Minas Morgul Slayers have eliminated the Dunharrow Devils in the Two Towers Series and move on to the Return of the King Series.
Minas Morgul controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 4-0 sweep.
Xandra *Thornflower led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. She posted a .474 batting average, along with a .450 on-base percentage. She scored 5 runs.
“We’re not done yet,” the MVP said. “There is still a lot to accomplish.”
The Minas Morgul Slayers don’t know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Erebor Eagles – Bywater Bounders series. Bywater leads the series 2 games to 0. The Return of the King Series schedule will be announced after the Two Towers Series finishes.
