The Moria Miners said they felt the Two Towers Series with the Rivendell Royals would go the distance.
But it didn’t end up being that difficult, as Moria advanced to the Return of the King Series with a 7-3 score, to clinch the series 4-2 at Royals Stadium.
“Whether it goes to the final game or not, we faced a good team and got the job done. It’s a big momentum boost for us,” said Monzaemon Srinshee, who was named series MVP. “We’re all feeling good about our chances to win the Return of the King Series.”
For the series, Srinshee hit .368 with a .478 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 5 runs.
The Moria Miners don’t know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Dagorlad Disaster – Dunharrow Devils series. Dunharrow leads the series 3 games to 2. The Return of the King Series schedule will be announced after the Two Towers Series finishes.
