Sunday, July 14th , 2052
If there wasn’t a history between Ugak *the Masher of Dead Marshes and Rubrae Tyrneladhelu of Numenor, then there is one now. Kapanaktsian Fires No-Hitter Against Ravenhill

Friday, July 12th , 2052
The Grey Havens Stars were just hoping for a solid outing from Surzog Kapanaktsian. Instead, they got something special.

The 25-year-old hurler tossed a no-hitter against the Ravenhill Darkwings, helping the Stars take the 2-0 win.

“I felt good throughout the game,” he said after his spectacular outing for the Stars. “As I was going into the ninth inning, I wasn’t nervous. I knew I had a chance to do something special.”

Kapanaktsian’s repertoire has a fastball, slider, cutter, and changeup, and he used it all to full advantage, keeping the Ravenhill hitters off balance all game long. The Grey Havens hurler fanned 11 and walked 3 in his history-making performance.

“His fastball looked about the size of a watermelon seed and it hissed at you as it passed,” Ravenhill manager Rark the Sly joked after the game.

Kapanaktsian has fashioned a 3-8 mark for the season, 4.78 ERA and thrown 105.1 innings in 19 starts. Opposing clubs are batting .256 against him.

Bywater Silences Mirkwood, 3-0

Friday, July 12th , 2052
Bywater Bounders starter Gonus Guttrisson really did a number on the Mirkwood Sylvan, shutting them out, 3-0, on 1 hit in a complete game victory. He issued no walks and had 8 strikeouts.

“We didn’t have good at-bats,” said Mirkwood manager Tavmina Eemli. “I don’t make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn’t show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Guttrisson.”

This season, Guttrisson has compiled a 7-7 record with a 3.72 ERA.
