The Dol Guldur Dragons started the Fellowship Series in style, winning on the road against the Weathertop Witch Kings at Amon Sul Stadium by a score of 9-1 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Dragons shortstop Garbhaka Yorba excelled. He was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4.
Yorba had a key at-bat in the top of the first to put Dol Guldur in front, 5-0. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run off Weathertop pitcher Dugor the Story-teller.
“It’s the best feeling when you come through for your teammates,” said Yorba.
