Charneca Tags Number 300

Did you catch a home run yesterday? One lucky fan has a prize possession after Maximo Charneca crushed his 300 home run tonight.

Charneca offered the lucky fan some souvenirs and a small cash prize in exchange for the ball. The fan who caught the ball has been identified, but has not yet commented on his intentions.

“That’s one you would kind of like to keep,” Charneca said.

The Miners first baseman went 1 for 3 with 1 home run and 1 run batted in as the Moria Miners won 7-1 over the Carrock Bears.

The Miners will be hosting a Maximo Charneca commemorative poster promotion for an upcoming homestand.

For his career, Charneca is hitting .268 with 300 homers, 873 RBIs and 1483 hits.

Dridersmasher Pounds MC Pitchers This Week

His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Xhalh Dridersmasher was rewarded with the Mordor Conference Player of the Week honors.

The scrappy Weathertop Witch Kings left fielder hit .370 while collecting 10 hits in 27 at-bats, 3 home runs and 6 RBIs.

Dridersmasher currently has a .272 batting average with 131 hits, 20 homers, 59 RBIs, 69 runs scored and a .352 OBP.

Great Week for Rivendell’s Huquethae Temir

Like a machine, Huquethae Temir hit the baseball with brutal efficiency last week, gaining himself the Shire Conference Player of the Week title for that stretch.

The Rivendell Royals first baseman rapped out a .435 average with 10 hits in 23 at-bats, 4 home runs, 9 RBI and 6 runs scored.

For the year Temir has hit .275 with 16 home runs, 46 RBIs and scored 48 runs.

MC Premier Pitcher is Weathertop’s Elrilmamir

The Weathertop Witch Kings felt very secure when they sent Lianthorn Elrilmamir out to the hill last month. The 33-year-old starter went after Mordor Conference hitters with a vengeance and earned August’s Pitcher of the Month award.

He went 3-2 with a 0.97 ERA as he struck out 38 in 37 innings over 6 starts.

In season stats Elrilmamir shows a 11-10 record in 27 games, 152.2 innings, 175 strikeouts and a 2.48 ERA.

Shire Conference Announces August’s Top Pitcher

Gildor *Inglorion really tore up the Shire Conference this past month. He went 5-1 in August and won the Pitcher of the Month award.

In 6 starts he struck out 32 in 42.1 innings with a 2.55 ERA.

For the season *Inglorion has logged 14 wins and 5 losses and struck out 130 batters in 180.1 innings while compiling a 2.99 ERA.

Dead Marshes’s *the Masher Top MC Batter in August

Dead Marshes Uruk-hai fans may just have witnessed a star player blossoming before their eyes in August.

Ugak *the Masher put up a remarkable month at the age of 23 and has been named the Mordor Conference Batter of the Month.

For the month, *the Masher hit .300 with 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and 21 runs scored.

So far this season *the Masher is hitting .374 with 41 home runs.

*Puttifoot of Bywater SC Batter of the Month

Ferdinand *Puttifoot may be getting older, but he’s evidently not slowing down.

The Bywater Bounders third baseman is the Shire Conference Batter of the Month for August after posting a stellar campaign.

*Puttifoot batted .326, hit 12 home runs, drove in 29 runs, scored 22 times and compiled a .448 on-base percentage.

Hitting .343 to date, *Puttifoot has 51 home runs and 125 RBIs. He has played in 129 games.

He rocked the opposition with a .524 batting average, 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 5 home runs and 12 RBIs while scoring 5 times.

This year Kakalian is hitting .252 with 37 home runs.
