Fairies win Dwarf Division
BUCKLEBURY - With just 17 games left in the season, the Bucklebury Fairies have clinched a playoff spot by winning the Dwarf Division. The Fairies, led by Xade, are making the post season for the first time since 2004 when they went all the way to the Return of the King Series (losing to Numenor in 6 games). This is just the 3rd time in franchise history that the team has won more than 100 games in a season. Powerful pitching has been the key to Bucklebury success this year, as the staff is 2nd in the league in runs allowed. Last year's Frodo Rookie winner, Samwise Peatfingers, has powered a potent offense, as well.
