Forgotten Realms Kobolds left fielder Olo Budo-Chubb was the difference-maker at Ballpark of Forgotten Realms today, as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game 5 of the Ultimate Championship. The Kobolds took the 3-2 win over the Dead Marshes Uruk-hai to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.
Had Dae-ki Astley not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases empty, Astley hit a solo home run. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Kobolds.
“We just didn’t score enough runs to win,” said Dead Marshes manager Mikee the German.
The next game is set to be played for Wednesday, November 18th , 2048 at Uruk-hai Field.
