Proving the old adage that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, the Royals announced today the acquisition of 26-year old RHP Grudguk Sildshul and 28-year old 1B Hozgug Smiddlefidget from the Chiba City Neuromancers in exchange for 22-year old minor league LHP Embrae Brightwing and 23-year old minor league 1B Hudbug Goblinhead. “This isn’t the deal of the century,” acknowledged the Royals, “but we think it will improve the direction of both teams.”
During his 272-game career Smiddlefidget has batted .255 and collected 193 hits, 8 home runs and 58 RBIs.
