The Dunharrow Devils started the Ultimate Championship in style, downing the visiting Dyson Spheres at Dunharrow Field by a score of 5-1 to stake an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Devils right-hander Ygrainne Brightmoon threw 5.1 innings of 2-hit ball.
With no one out in the bottom of the sixth, Misagenes Foebinder barreled up a curveball from Tudzog Ettincutter. The result was a solo home run, putting the Devils in front, 3-1.
“I made some pitches when I had to,” said Brightmoon.
